Features of the procedure

The beneficial effects of ultrasonic waves on the human body have been noticed and used in medicine for a long time. Their use in cosmetology is justified by their ability to destroy fat cells. Ultrasonic cleansing involves treating the face with the attachment of an appropriate device. At the same time, the contents of the skin pores disintegrate, and they themselves temporarily expand due to heating the skin to 45 degrees.

Fat, dirt, excess liquid are easily removed. And the vibration created by ultrasound also helps improve blood circulation, the supply of oxygen and nutrients to tissues.

After ultrasonic cleansing, no defects remain on the skin. It is not subject to mechanical stress or abrasion.

Therefore, no rehabilitation is required, and no pain is felt during the procedure.

Myths about the procedure

The apparent simplicity and painlessness of the procedure gave rise to many rumors around it. And not all of them are true. Myth
True Ultrasound peeling and peeling are different procedures
In fact, both are simply synonyms. Peeling is the liberation of the skin from dead cells, impurities, and products of the functioning of the sebaceous glands, that is, cleansing

The procedure will help get rid of age spots and wrinkles

The first is unrealistic, since ultrasound does not have abrasive capabilities. It also does not affect pigment distribution. After all, the substance that colors the skin is located deeper than the influence of the waves.

When it comes to wrinkles, only the smallest ones will be reduced. This happens due to the normalization of cellular respiration in the superficial layers of the skin and stimulation of blood flow. But ultrasound does not affect other causes of creases and folds. The procedure can be used as soon as possible to prevent their occurrence Ultrasound peeling can still be painful
The gentleness of ultrasound makes its use possible for everyone This is incorrect; the procedure also has contraindications. Ultrasound, despite the absence of noticeable sensations, can be harmful for certain health problems
To carry out the procedure, you need to choose the right time of year. In fact, such a gentle manipulation as ultrasonic facial cleansing makes peeling safe in any season. It can also be carried out in the summer. After all, living skin cells are not damaged, therefore, healing is not required. This means there is no risk of inflammation due to heat.

Indications for use

Ultrasonic skin cleansing will be useful for the following skin problems:

  • the presence of pores clogged with oil and dirt (comedones);
  • acne without ulcers;
  • swelling on the face caused by inhibition of microcirculation;
  • withering due to a lack of nutrients and oxygen, the inability to supply them to the tissues;
  • increased activity of the sebaceous glands, leading to an oily shine on the face;
  • enlarged pores that clog easily;
  • lifeless complexion.

The listed shortcomings are periodically discovered in many women, especially if they regularly use foundation or powder. Therefore, ultrasound manipulation is carried out at a very young age, but not earlier than 18 years.

Contraindications

The impact of ultrasound on the facial area can affect the functioning of other parts of the body. And it is not always favorable, so the procedure is contraindicated for the following diseases and conditions:

  • hypertension;
  • sinusitis;
  • oncological pathologies;
  • acute period of any chronic disease;
  • ARVI and influenza, other common infections;
  • ulcers on the face;
  • mental illness, epilepsy;
  • exacerbation of herpes, another infectious problem, manifested by rashes on the face;
  • presence of a pacemaker;
  • pregnancy and lactation;
  • individual intolerance to ultrasound;
  • inflammation of the facial nerves;
  • skin damage;
  • recent chemical peeling or facial plastic surgery;
  • expressed.

Technique

The procedure is carried out after first clearing the face of cosmetics. There is no need to steam or abrasively clean. Further ultrasonic manipulation proceeds as follows:

  • The specialist applies a gel to the face, which enhances the conductivity of the waves emitted by the device. Some salons prefer to simply sprinkle the skin with mineral water. It will help soften the contents of the pores and easily get rid of it.
  • The device for ultrasonic facial peeling is adjusted taking into account the individual parameters of the patient’s skin. The specialist takes the handpiece and moves the nozzle over the desired area, following the massage lines. The patient feels touch and vibration, sometimes tingling. If more severe discomfort or pain is felt, the equipment settings can be changed without interrupting the procedure. Even sensitive skin under the eyes is treated, since here, too, dead particles of the epidermis can settle on the surface.
  • After all areas of the face have been treated, the skin is wiped with toner. Then a mask is applied to it, filling the tissue with the necessary substances. The skin is now especially susceptible to cosmetic effects. After 15 - 20 minutes of feeding with the mask, remove it and apply a cream corresponding to the type. It contains components that soothe and moisturize the skin.

Immediately after completing the procedure, which lasts from half an hour to 40 minutes, you can go home. There will be no visible blemishes, blemishes or severe redness on the face. Skin color immediately becomes brighter, but not so much that it becomes necessary to mask it with foundation.

The effect of ultrasonic peeling with proper follow-up care will last for 4 - 8 months. After this period, the course of procedures can be repeated.

Possible complications

Skin problems and other types of deterioration in well-being usually do not occur after ultrasound exposure. In rare cases, the following may occur:

  • swelling on the face;
  • a rush of blood to the skin of the treated area;
  • feeling of facial tightness, peeling;
  • increased activity of the sebaceous glands;
  • pain when touching the face.

These complications may mean that the procedure was performed incorrectly, with the incorrect choice of device operating parameters. This also happens when contraindications to it are ignored or intolerance to ultrasound, as well as due to the fault of cosmetics used during the manipulation.

Problems may not arise immediately after the procedure, but later, due to the carelessness of the patient. Ultrasound manipulation does not require a rehabilitation period. But in order to avoid complications, you should not sunbathe for the next 3 - 5 days after it, do other aggressive procedures, overheat and apply a thick layer of cosmetics to your face. Care products must contain moisturizing ingredients.

Effect

In most cases, ultrasonic facial cleansing results in favorable changes after the first session. Skin looks healthier, fresher, younger. But to finally put it in order, several procedures (5 - 8) will be needed, carried out with a pause of 2 - 3 weeks. The amount depends on the initial condition of the skin. Thanks to the course, the following changes become possible:

  • the surface will be freed from keratinized particles, which means easier access to oxygen and nutrients for developing cells;
  • will disappear as the pores are cleared of sebum and impurities;
  • blood supply to the facial skin and lymph flow improves, which will relieve unhealthy swelling;
  • the protective capabilities of the epidermis will increase, that is, the likelihood of skin diseases will decrease;
  • the surface of the face will become smoother, the pores will narrow;
  • the skin's moisture content will increase, that is, elasticity;
  • the complexion will lose its earthy tint and acquire the brightness characteristic of youth.

Price

Ultrasonic facial skin peeling is a procedure that is affordable in cost. A single session costs 1500 - 3000 rubles. The difference is determined by the level of the cabin, the features of the equipment, and the high cost of the equipment used during the procedure.

If ultrasonic cleaning is done to prevent skin problems, 1 procedure per month is enough. The course, of course, will cost more, since it consists of several sessions.

Ultrasonic cleansing procedures can also be done at home. But for this you will need a device, the cost of which can range from 3,600 to 20,000 rubles. These are the devices:

  • Clarisonic SMART PROFILE (USA);
  • "YOU GESS" (China);
  • "Gezatone BioSonic Kus 2000" (France);
  • "AllRest" (China);
  • "WELSS WS 7050" (China).

You will need to buy cosmetics to go along with them. But the effect of a home procedure will be weaker than after a salon one.

Do not place too high hopes on ultrasonic cleansing manipulation. It will not help you look 5-10 years younger. But the use of ultrasonic peeling will make the skin softer and more beautiful, and give the face a refreshed and rested look.

Ultrasonic peeling is an innovative and gentle procedure that is suitable for patients of all ages and immediately eliminates many different skin problems.

It is aimed at cleansing the upper layers of the epidermis, removing acne and excess subcutaneous fat. The basis of this procedure is an ultrasonic wave with clear settings and parameters not lower than twenty-eight hertz.

Under the influence of this wave the following happens:

  • the stratum corneum of the skin is exfoliated;
  • skin massage;
  • improvement of metabolic processes, lymph flow and blood circulation;
  • resorption of adhesions;
  • successful loosening of connective tissue.

Ultrasonic peeling refers to a special procedure that provides hardware cleansing of the face under the influence of high-frequency vibrations.

This type of peeling refers to superficial, physical peelings, as it ensures the rejection of the dead layer of cells by breaking the bonds between the cells of the stratum corneum.

Using ultrasound, a triple effect is produced on the skin.

  1. It helps cleanse the skin and eliminates the dead layer of cells.
  2. Active ingredients have the ability to penetrate deeply into the skin layers.
  3. A skin massage is performed, which leads to stimulation of collagen production.

The essence of the procedure

Subsequence:

  1. Before starting the procedure, the patient's skin is cleaned and treated with a special gel.
  2. Mineral water is applied to the entire surface to be treated.
  3. Skin treatment is carried out using a special nozzle through which ultrasound is applied. In this case, the peeling effect is due to the fact that the wave “crushes” already dead cells and impurities in the pores. The skin under the nozzle is heated to a temperature of 40-45C, which allows the blood vessels to expand and thereby receive more oxygen.
  4. An antibacterial mask is applied with a drying effect.
  5. A soothing cream suitable for the patient's skin type is applied.
  6. In some cases, darsonvalization is performed at the end of the procedure.

The procedure is performed in strict sequence: from the side areas of the face to the center against the massage lines. The upper eye area, lips and thyroid gland are avoided.

Each area can be processed no more than four times. In general, it should not last more than fifteen minutes for normal skin and no more than five minutes for sensitive skin.

According to the depth of impact, ultrasonic peeling is divided into several categories:

  • superficial – acts within the stratum corneum of the epidermis;
  • middle - affects the epidermis and reaches the capillary dermis;
  • deep – affects the reticular dermis.

Periodicity

Depending on the skin type and existing problems, a course is carried out, including from five to fifteen procedures with an interval of seven to fourteen days.

If the patient has dry skin, then the best option is quarterly peeling.

If the patient has oily skin, then the best result can be achieved using a combination of ultrasonic peeling and mechanical facial cleansing.

Advantages

Ultraphonophoresis

Ultraphonophoresis is the effect on the body of both ultrasound and a medicinal substance. The latter is most often presented in the form of an emulsion, medicinal solution or ointment.

For bases, glycerin, lanolin or vegetable oils are used. They ensure the release of nutrients and their transfer to the skin during phonophoresis.

After the procedure, the contact medium with the drug is left on the patient’s body or face, and the exposure is carried out in a labile mode at an ultrasound intensity of 0.6 W/cm2.

The duration does not exceed fifteen minutes, and the stages of its implementation include approximately the same as the ultrasonic peeling procedure. Their only difference is that during phonophoresis, the patient receives a special drug that enters the body through the skin and is then distributed throughout the body.

The result of the procedure largely depends on the correctly selected drugs. For example, amino acids and antioxidants are suitable for anti-aging therapy, and with the problems of young skin, that is, with acne and oily shine, zinc and sulfur preparations, aloe vera and chamomile extracts, which have an anti-inflammatory and soothing effect, are most effective.

After a short period of time, ultrasound penetrated into the field of cosmetology. At first it was used to cleanse the skin of impurities, and then it began to be used for peeling.

Currently, ultrasonic facial peeling can replace several cosmetic procedures simultaneously, since it smoothes wrinkles, cleanses the skin and corrects the oval of the face.

What is ultrasonic facial peeling?

Almost everyone knows what peeling is. With this procedure, the appearance and color of the skin improves, in addition, it begins to rejuvenate. But this effect does not last long, and it is categorically impossible to repeat it very often, because due to the heavy load, the epidermis loses the ability to renew itself. This often leads to clogged pores and aging skin.

But women dream of always remaining beautiful. This is what largely contributed to the emergence of such a procedure as ultrasonic facial peeling. He is in the most gentle way peeling, used to remove the top layer of the epidermis, consisting of dead cells. In addition, with the help of this procedure, superficial wrinkles are smoothed, acne and contaminated comedones disappear, hemodynamics improve, and the skin is naturally moisturized. The face becomes refreshed and noticeably younger. Thanks to deep cleansing, pores do not appear too large, and the skin becomes velvety, smooth and soft.

This procedure is completely painless and does not cause any discomfort, and it can be done very often. The result lasts for a week or a week and a half, after which it is recommended to repeat it to better consolidate the effect.

Indications for the procedure

Ultrasonic peeling has the following indications for its implementation:

Contraindications

Despite the fact that knot peeling is done on various skin types, it is prohibited for people suffering from cancer or cardiovascular diseases. Also, the procedure is prohibited during exacerbation of skin diseases, during pregnancy, with blood diseases and thrombophlebitis, if the patient has trophic ulcers, abrasions or wounds, with mental illness, wearing a pacemaker and the presence of implants.

If the patient has pustules or acne worsens, then preliminary treatment should be carried out first. This can be cosmetic or medicinal procedures. Only after treatment can peeling be performed.

If any surgical interventions have been performed on the face, such a procedure is prohibited during the recovery period.

In addition, cosmetologists do not recommend ultrasonic peeling:

  • before our eyes;
  • above the thyroid gland;
  • on the genitals;
  • in the area above the heart.

The procedure for ultrasonic peeling

Uzbek peeling of the face is carried out using a device that produces high-efficiency ultrasonic waves that do not cause any harm to a person. In different beauty salons, the stages of the procedure are carried out differently. The cosmetologist performs manipulations at his own discretion, taking into account the individual characteristics of each patient’s skin.

At the first stage, the skin should be cleansed of cosmetics. using special lotions. If necessary, you can additionally cleanse the skin with a scrub that lifts the skin scales, which increases the likelihood of complete cleansing of the skin.

Then the skin must be moistened with mineral water or a special gel, after which the cosmetologist places an ultrasonic scrubber blade on it and begins to move it along the massage lines. In this case, the patient can only feel the vibration of the device, and in those places where the skin is located very close to the bone (cheekbones, forehead).

At the end of the ultrasonic peeling procedure, a light plastic massage is performed, a moisturizing mask and cream suitable for a specific skin type are applied.

On average, the facial peeling procedure lasts no more than 40 minutes, and the result can be assessed almost immediately. To keep the skin in good condition, ultrasonic peeling is recommended carry out 1 – 2 times a month, but it can be done more often if there is evidence for it.

Benefits of ultrasonic facial peeling

No rehabilitation period

Considering the fact that the facial skin is not damaged at all during peeling, patients can immediately return to their daily activities after it. This procedure is often called a “weekend” procedure because it is carried out when it is necessary to quickly bring the skin into flawless condition.

Safety of the procedure

Since ultrasound does not have any toxic effects on the human body, patients who agree to such a procedure risk absolutely nothing, unlike chemical peeling, which can cause intoxication of the body active chemical compounds. Of course, the probability of this is very small, but it exists.

Possibility of combining peeling with other cosmetic procedures

Ultrasonic waves can increase the permeability of the skin several times, so if immediately after the procedure you apply any cosmetic product to your facial skin, its effect on the skin will be more pronounced and lasting.

Low cost

Particularly pleasing is the fact that the procedure has quite low cost. Moreover, many clinics and salons often provide it at discounted or promotional prices.

Other benefits

Like other types of peels, ultrasound is aimed at removing the very top layer of the epidermis. But vibration vibrations penetrate much deeper, due to which it occurs immediately several types of impact:

  • Mechanical. As a result of ultrasonic vibrations, the facial skin is cleansed of dirt and dead cells. In addition, they are very effective against scars because they promote the resorption of collagen fibers that make up scar tissue. A facial massage is performed, accelerating regeneration.
  • Physico-chemical. Metabolic processes are accelerated.
  • Disinfectant. Ultrasound is great at fighting bacteria, so it is very effective if you have acne.

Ultrasonic peeling is a gentle procedure, so if your face is too dirty, it may not be able to handle it. In advanced cases, mechanical cleaning is first carried out, after which the result is secured with peeling.

Peeling or facial cleansing is a popular cosmetic procedure that can be performed using different methods: vacuum, mechanical, ultrasound. In modern cosmetology, ultrasonic peeling (US peeling) is most in demand.

Ultrasound allows you to painlessly and effectively cleanse the skin without damaging the epidermis at all. This technique does not affect the aging process of the skin and has a minimum of contraindications and restrictions.

Why do you need ultrasound peeling?

Ultrasonic peeling is indicated for mixed and oily skin types, the presence of acne and post-acne, and a dull, unhealthy complexion. It has the following effects:

  • the skin is effectively cleansed of external impurities;
  • dead cells of the epidermis are exfoliated;
  • the ducts of the sebaceous glands are cleansed;
  • a “micromassage” of the skin occurs, which affects the deep layers of the epidermis, activates metabolic processes in cells, improves blood and lymph circulation.

After an ultrasound peeling session, the complexion is evened out, the skin becomes more elastic and fresh, and swelling decreases. The stratum corneum, which consists of dying cells, becomes thinner. Therefore, after peeling, creams and face masks work better; the active ingredients of cosmetics penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin.

Features of the procedure

Before ultrasonic peeling, there is no need to steam the skin; standard makeup removal and cleansing is sufficient. For better conductivity of ultrasonic waves, a cosmetologist can treat the skin with a special gel or mineral water.

Ultrasonic vibrations are propagated by an emitter applied to the surface of the skin. During the procedure, high-frequency vibrations occur in the superficial part of the epidermis. They stimulate the mechanical separation of dead cells of the stratum corneum of the skin from viable cells.

The cosmetologist moves an ultrasonic emitter, which is shaped like a spatula, over the skin with smooth movements. There are no unpleasant or painful sensations during the procedure. The patient simply feels the touch of a metal plate to the skin or a slight vibration. The total duration is approximately 30 minutes.

There is no inflammation or redness after ultrasonic peeling. The skin on the face may only turn slightly pink, and after 2-3 hours this effect will disappear. No special care is required after ultrasound peeling; there is also no rehabilitation period after the session.

The result of the procedure is visible immediately, but it largely depends on the condition of the skin before the session. It is usually recommended to repeat the peeling after a week to consolidate the results. In general, it can be done once a month, and more often if you have problem skin. The exact schedule of visits to the beauty salon should be determined by a specialist.

Contraindications to ultrasound peeling

Like any cosmetic procedure, ultrasonic peeling has a number of limitations and contraindications. It is not recommended:

  • people with cancer and cardiovascular diseases;
  • pregnant and lactating women;
  • for acute colds;
  • for skin diseases, exacerbation of acne (presence of pustular rashes and skin irritation);
  • patients using a pacemaker.

Ultrasonic facial treatments are affordable and effective. But with a large number of positive properties, one should not forget about contraindications. The manipulation must be carried out in a special clinic or cosmetology office with an experienced and professional cosmetologist.
