Halloween competitions. Games and competitions for Halloween

A fun Halloween party is great. No such friendly meeting should be complete without fun entertainment, which means you will need entertaining competitions.

You don't have to go out to have fun on Halloween. You can also organize a party at your home. Moreover, you yourself will be able to control the process of preparing for the holiday and will not find yourself limited in time. But for this you need to carefully prepare.

For a full-fledged holiday, you will need candies in the shape of ghosts and witches on brooms, beautiful apartment decoration and much more that you can please at your home Halloween. But it is very important to think about competitions. We offer you some interesting fun.

Vampire pranks

For the competition you will need to split into two teams. You will need plastic cups to write on and a black marker. Write the name of each contestant on the bottom of the cup. Pour red juice into glasses: tomato, cherry or pomegranate. Place them on the table: opposite the first team are cups with the names of members of the other team, and vice versa.

At the signal, the first person needs to run up to the table, drink any juice and take the glass with him. Let the other participants do the same in turn. Whichever team finishes it faster is the winner. They signal the end by shouting the word "Halloween" and receive a prize from the losers. The losers finish their drink, look at the name written on their glass, and give the winners a treat.

Guess who you are

To make the holiday atmospheric, many of your guests will probably come in costumes. You, as the host or hostess of the holiday, should also take care of the frightening appearance. If you don't want to buy a costume, you can always make it yourself. Ideas usually include costumes of mummies, vampires, or simply applying scary makeup. In any case, everyone will impersonate someone, and this can be played up in the next competition.

For the competition, you need to prepare cards with names of objects that are thematically suitable for Halloween. For example, you can write “werewolf” or “pumpkin” and similar things on them. Everyone gets this card stuck on their forehead. Thus, a person does not know who he is, but sees other people's cards. The first participant asks questions about himself that can be answered “yes” or “no.” For example, “Am I alive or dead?” or “Do I have big nails?” Based on the answers to the questions, you need to guess what is written on the piece of paper. Everyone who guesses correctly gets a piece of candy, a glass of wine, or any other reward.

Invitation to the Sabbath

This Halloween competition will require attentiveness and ingenuity. The presenter poses as the prince of darkness. He asks the question “who wants to go to the Sabbath?” and gets answers. Answers should always be a noun: witch, cucumber, chair, and so on. For convenience, the prince of darkness asks in order of priority. To himself, he selects the main criterion for the guests to be welcome at the Sabbath: for example, it will be something with a vowel. Those who guess this criterion will get to the Sabbath. The game lasts until those who did not make it to the Sabbath give up and agree to a penalty dance.

Love potion

Divide everyone who wants to participate into two teams. You will need several candies for each participant. Place a container at a decent distance into which you can throw candy. Whichever team has the most candies in the pot wins, and they can eat the candy they earned as a prize. And the losing team gets nothing.

A very scary letter

For the competition you will need newspapers and magazines, A4 sheet and scissors. Divide the competition participants into two teams. At the signal, you need to quickly start cutting out words and gluing them onto paper. This should be a Halloween invitation text. In this case, it is necessary to use the words “scary”, “terrible” and their synonyms, as well as other words related to Halloween. The competition lasts no more than 3-5 minutes. Whose letter is completed is the winner. The losing team must perform a Halloween dance to music or pay off with candy.

In addition to competitions for October 31, the eve of All Saints' Day, fortune-telling has long been popular among people: for love, for the future, and much more. Get your accurate predictions with simple Halloween fortune telling and don't forget to press the buttons and

The main attribute of the festive decoration on Halloween is, of course, the pumpkin. And for her to look decent -...

Halloween came to our country relatively recently, but this holiday has gained so much popularity that it is celebrated almost everywhere. This holiday is especially popular among young people, for whom Halloween has become an excellent opportunity not only to have a good and fun holiday, but also to try on all kinds of masquerade costumes. The love of young people for this holiday can be judged by the number of photos from holiday parties that fill social media feeds. However, despite the popularity of this fun and cool holiday, which is so loved by children and youth, not everyone knows how to celebrate it correctly.

If you look at the USA, where this holiday came to us from, it is customary for children to go and collect candy from their neighbors. In addition, it is customary to hold all sorts of games at holiday parties. And if there may be problems with collecting candies for Halloween, then there should be no problems with holding themed games and competitions.

"Eggs from a Basket"

Since Halloween is a fun and cool holiday for young people, there should be appropriate competitions for it. To conduct this competition, you need to prepare five eggs. The presenter warns that one of the eggs is raw, and the rest are boiled. Participants will need to take turns taking out the eggs from their basket and breaking them on their foreheads. The catch with this competition is that all the eggs in the basket are boiled. Therefore, when there is only one egg left, the last person will think that he has lost the competition. But if a participant decides to break an egg on his forehead, then he will be the winner, because, despite the risk of becoming a universal laughing stock, the person did it. It is he who is awarded the main prize. However, we can note other participants who also took risks.

"Pumpkin Basketball"

Considering the fact that pumpkin is one of the main symbols of Halloween, this fruit can be actively used in many competitions at holiday parties. So, if you take a large pumpkin, cut off the top and cut out the insides, you can organize a themed basketball. For it you will need not only a pumpkin, which will act as a basket, but also table tennis balls. Each pumpkin basketball participant is given five attempts to get into the basket from a certain distance, which can be decorated by drawing an evil face on it. The winner is the participant who gets inside the pumpkin the most times. If after five attempts it was not possible to identify a winner, then the participants who hit the pumpkin with a tennis ball the same number of times advance to the finals. They are given one attempt each to determine the winner.

"Evil Air Pumpkin"

To conduct this Halloween themed contest, you need to purchase a sufficient number of orange balloons and markers. In addition, you will also need a skein of thread.

Party guests must participate in this competition in pairs. Its essence lies in the fact that one of the participants needs to inflate the balloon, and the second needs to tie it. After this, you need to work together to draw an evil face on the ball, like those that are carved out of pumpkins. The couple that manages to turn the ball into an evil pumpkin in the shortest possible time wins the first stage.

After the end of the first stage, when all couples have finished inflating and painting the balloons, you can move on to the next part of the competition. At this stage, couples need to destroy the “evil pumpkins” without using their hands. Also, you should not throw the ball on the floor and crush it with your feet. That is, you can crush them only with your bodies. The pair that destroys the pumpkin the fastest will win.

"Pumpkin Lantern"

In order to be able to hold this competition, you need to stock up on a sufficient number of pumpkins and knives. The essence of the competition is that participants need to cut out the most original, scary or funny face from a pumpkin. The winners are determined by party guests who evaluate the originality and terrifying appearance of the resulting jack-o'-lanterns.

"Catch the Apple"

This game is very popular at a variety of holidays. It is also traditional for Halloween. The essence of it is that participants need to catch apples from a bucket of water using only their teeth.

"Dance of the Witches"

For this game you need to find a broom and provide musical accompaniment. This game is a thematic variation on the classic chair competition, where participants run around chairs to music and sit down when the music stops playing. Anyone who doesn’t have time flies out, and there are fewer chairs.

Only girls can play the game “Dance of the Witches”. Its essence lies in the fact that girls dance to music, passing a broom to each other while dancing. The witch who still has the broom in her hands when the music stops playing is eliminated from the game. This can continue until there is only one witch left, who will become the winner of the game.

"Bloody Crocodile"

One of the favorite games of young people, which they play on many holidays, is “Crocodile,” which everyone probably knows about. This game is also perfect for Halloween celebrations. However, in order for the game to be associated with this particular holiday, you can stylize it as Halloween. To do this, participants need to guess only those characters that are associated with this holiday, for example, vampires, zombies, mummies, werewolves, witches and ghosts. The classic “Crocodile” stylized for Halloween will surely delight any group of young people.

"Mummy"

This game will only be played once at the holiday party. However, this must be done, because the effect of this game can be truly unpredictable. But you can definitely cheer up the company with the help of a game.

A guy and a girl must participate in this game. The guy lies down on the table, and the girl is blindfolded and brought to the table. After this, you need to take the girl’s hand and start applying it to different parts of the guy’s body. At the same time, you need to say: “Here is the mummy’s hand, and here is his leg.” As soon as the girl gets used to the game process and does not expect any tricks, you need to take her hand and put it in a bowl of salad. Having done this, you must say “And here are the brains of the mummy.” At the end of this game you need to be prepared for any effect.

"Bag of Fear"

For this game you need to prepare a bag or an opaque bag. It is also necessary to find things that are difficult to recognize by touch, for example, an unusually shaped sponge. It is necessary to put things in the bag one by one and give it to the participants so that they can determine what kind of thing it is. Participants must feel things with their eyes closed, without removing things from the bag. When it’s the shy girl’s turn, you need to put an artificial head with hair in the bag. Such heads are sold in stores as wig stands. Having felt this thing in the bag, the girl will probably give the reaction that will amuse all the guests. The effect of this game will be no less funny than that of The Mummy. However, you need to be prepared that the girl who had her head stuck in a bag may be offended by such a prank. Although, she can be understood.

Divide the gathered children into 2 teams, mark the start and finish lines on the floor. Players' task- run to the finish line, carrying an artificial eye in a spoon, come back with it and carefully pass it to the next player on the team. Sinister pouch

This scary game is sure to captivate little dreamers. Prepare in advance a variety of items that can be hidden in the bag. It is advisable that the selected items be unexpected for the children and not very pleasant to the touch (for example, dried fruit, rough shells or a damp sponge). Objects should not be piercing or cutting.

Players take turns putting their hand into the ominous bag and, having felt a certain object there, they come up with a scary story about it. For example, that with the help of this object the witch performed her terrible spells. Having finished his story, the narrator demonstrates the chosen object to everyone present. The scariest story wins.

The most terrible spell

In that Halloween competition for children Young participants are also encouraged to show their creativity. The most creative option wins.

You can come up with games on the fly, depending on what the kids are dressed up as. They will definitely like the game that matches the chosen image!

A Halloween party can feature many popular games tailored to the theme of the holiday. For example, everyone knows the game of passing an object in a circle accompanied by music. Whoever has the object in his hands at the moment when the music stops must, for example, crow and leave the game. And then the transfer of the item continues until one participant remains. On Halloween, you can have similar fun by passing a pumpkin or a plastic model of a skull around in a circle. The one who has the transferred object in his hands at the moment the music is turned off needs to scream loudly, as if from fear, and leave the circle.

The well-known entertainment “Musical Chair” (everyone walks around the chairs, and when the music stops, they rush to sit down) can also be adapted. You can, for example, walk around a table on which there are heads of garlic - one less than the number of participants. When the music stops, everyone takes a head of garlic in their hands. Those who didn't have enough were bitten by a vampire. This means that he has no place among people, and he drops out. The music needs to be chosen appropriately – suspenseful, alarming. The soundtrack from “The Pink Panther” would also work.

You can organize competitions to quickly drink tomato juice, which at Halloween is called nothing more than blood.

And among adults, you can hold a pairs competition to drink Bloody Mary: cocktails (vodka with tomato juice) are made in tall glasses, each pair is given a glass and two straws. Whichever pair empties the glass through the straws the fastest wins the prize.

Relay races are traditional at holidays. On Halloween, you can hold a relay race for high-speed transfer of “eyes” in a spoon. The eyes are painted tennis balls. The eye ball is placed in a spoon and carried by team members.

We offer several more games and competitions for Halloween.

Competition "Terrible Spell"

To warm up, all party participants will have to come up with the most terrible, dark, creepy spell and pronounce it in the most terrible, dark, creepy voice. At the same time, your spell may not contain wise words or deep thoughts. It’s even better if it’s just a set of inarticulate sounds, but said in a heartbreaking and convincing way - the main thing is to make everyone around you feel creepy (or funny). The winner is the most terrible spellcaster.

Game "Witch's Eyes"

For this game you will need the following props:

  • a large cardboard box without one side wall so that viewers can clearly see what is happening inside;
  • cut a hole on top so that a hand can pass through, but the owner of the hand himself cannot look into the box;
  • several plates with grapes, orange slices, soft jelly sweets without wrappers, boiled pasta, mashed potatoes, semolina porridge, etc.

The participant is invited to put his hand in the box and by touch determine the menu for this festive evening: “Boiled Witch Eyes”, “Italian Mealworms”, “Brains of a Young Virgin”, etc. At this time, the presenter puts another plate with the announced “delicacies” in the box. Spectators can only have fun watching the hand, and most importantly, the expression on the participant’s face. Don’t forget to then offer the participant a wet napkin to wipe away “traces of the crime.”

Competition "Feed the Leshy"

One pair from each team participates. The Leshys from each team sit on chairs, and the Kikimoras are blindfolded and given treats for the Leshys, for example, boiled potatoes, a slice of bread, a cake or a pickled cucumber. The kikimor is turned around an axis several times to confuse it. Leshy do not speak, but only make hissing sounds “sh-sh-sh” or “ch-ch-ch”, by which Kikimors must find them. Kikimor's task is to find her Leshy and feed him before her rival. It turns out very funny if Kikimors suddenly feed someone else's Leshy.

Game "Ball"

Two people participate. They sit at the table opposite each other, and an inflated balloon is placed on the table. Participants are blindfolded and asked to blow on the ball so that it ends up on the opponent's half. But as soon as the participants begin to blow, the ball is removed, and a full plate of flour is placed in its place. From the outside it looks fun.

Competition "Walk through the swamp"

For this competition you will need sheets of A4 paper - these will be the bumps. The participants' task is to go through the "swamp", stepping only on bumps. To do this, after each step you need to take the sheet behind you, place it in front of you and take the next step. A participant who misses and does not hit the bump with his foot is pulled into the “swamp” and leaves the game. The winner is the one who passed the “swamp” first.

Game "Sushi on the body"

A girl and a guy are invited to participate in the game. The girl lies down, and small edible products are laid out scattered on her: candies, cookies, nuts, etc. The guy, blindfolded and with his hands behind his back, must find and eat the girl's treats. While the task is being explained to the guy with his eyes closed, the girl is quickly exchanged for the guy. At the command of the leader, the participant in the game begins to absorb pieces of food, unaware of the replacement.

Game "Yellow Bows"

Three or more people participate. To begin with, a girl is invited to the center. Two (three) male players are blindfolded. The first blindfolded man is given yellow ribbons in his hands, and he must tie a bow anywhere on the girl. The second man's task is to feel the bow on the girl and untie it. Then the girls carry out the same manipulations with the man. And so on until everyone has tried these roles.

Competition "Mummy"

What would Halloween be without the traditional and beloved Mummy! But there can be several options for performing the competition: the already familiar economical one - using a roll of toilet paper, or more expensive, but much more interesting - wrapping with bandages. The competition can be complicated by asking two (or more) teams to build, for example, a Snowman Mummy or a Polar Bear Mummy. What do you think of the Autumn Mummy - decorated with colorful leaves? And the Stationery (Office) Mummy - with attached pencils and pens? By hiding apples, nuts or other protruding objects under layers of bandages, you will get a terrible monster with tumors and warts. The most original copy wins, of course.

Letter from a maniac

The players are divided into two teams, which are given newspapers. The teams’ task is to compose and paste a “threatening” letter on paper within the allotted time, cutting out only whole words from newspapers. The winning team is chosen based on the quality and quantity of the text.

The Mystery of Destiny

The presenter gives the participants their new characteristics: cards with the inscription (for example, vampire, demon, sorcerer, werewolf) are fixed on the backs of the players. At the same time, everyone can read the names of the others, but cannot find out who they are. During the allotted time, players can ask questions about their “rank” to others, and answer others’ questions only “yes” or “no.” At the end, the players tell the host what they think is written on the card. Those who guess correctly or are closest to the solution win.

Zombies and mummies

Draw a large circle with chalk, place 2 chairs far apart from each other inside. The presenters divide the players into teams of “zombies” and “mummies”, blindfold them and mix them among themselves. Zombies say "Uh-uh" and mummies say "Uh-uh." You need to gather your team in a “huddle” around a chair without leaving the circle. The one who crossed the border is eliminated from the game and helps the presenters. The team with the most participants in the allotted time wins.

Pass to the Sabbath

The host asks the players a question: “Who wants to go to the Sabbath?” Each participant must say who he is (any word: witch, skeleton, closet, cucumber) until the host lets him through. You can skip a person based on any pre-selected criterion (for example, the first letters of the skip words are vowels). The players' task is to find out what criterion the presenter uses.

Bridge over the abyss

The players are divided into pairs. Each is given three sheets of A4 format. The task of the contestants is to cross them, moving from one to another, across the “abyss”. Since walking over the abyss is dangerous, team members must insure each other - hold hands during the transition, without letting go. The team that completes the task the fastest wins.

Holiday makeup

Participants are divided into several teams of 3-5 people. Each team receives a set of props for applying “makeup” and a task: a list of monsters to paint as. Props can be cosmetics (or gouache and brushes) in white, black and red. In the allotted time, the team must color all its players according to the list received, and the guests must choose the best option.

Ghoul Dinner

For the competition you will need a “cauldron” (any sufficiently large container will do) and toy or edible “nasties”: spiders, eyes, worms, jaws, etc. In a pinch, regular candies will do. Participants need to take turns throwing the ingredients for the “soup” into the cauldron. The winner can be determined in different ways: it can be the one who threw the last ingredient or the one who never hit.

Werewolf Potion

Requires preliminary preparation. Edible ingredients are poured and poured into containers of various sizes and shapes. An “alchemist” is selected from those who wish. He collects 3-5 random containers, from which he mixes a “potion” in any proportions (for example, a pinch of powder from a jar, a glass of one liquid and 3 drops of another) and comes up with who the recipient turns into. The remaining werewolf players must take a sip of the potion and determine who they turned into and why. The winner is the one who guessed what the alchemist intended, or the one who came up with the best explanation.

Terrible witchcraft

Participants must come up with and cast a “real spell,” which should not contain meaningful words or phrases. It is important that the invented set of sounds sound as dark as possible, and most importantly, explain to others what magical effect is achieved with the help of what is spoken. It will be interesting if the result of the spell is something funny, for example, “This curse causes frogs to grow on a person’s nose.”

Witch-hunt

The "witch hunter" is blindfolded and spun around. The remaining participants (“witches” and “citizens”) move around chaotically. The highlight is that the witches have bells in their hands, and it is these that the Hunter must catch in a minute or two, after which the next Hunter is chosen (by lot). The one who makes the fewest mistakes wins.

The art of transformation

Participants are divided into teams, each choosing a volunteer and a mystical character. After this, the teams are asked to dress up the chosen one from the opposing team within the allotted time. To create the image, newspapers and paper clips (clothespins) are used. The audience guesses which characters are in front of them. The team that achieves the most recognizable result wins.

Ghost head

An inflated balloon with a painted face is placed in the middle of the table. Two participants are blindfolded, seated at a table opposite each other and asked to blow the ball towards the opponent. Before the contestants begin, the ball is removed and a plate of flour is placed in its place. Not only the ball turns out to be a ghost, but also the participants.

Catching apples with teeth from a bucket of water

To do this, fill a large, clean container almost completely with water (it's better to use wide, rectangular household containers rather than buckets). Children take turns putting their heads into the container and trying to catch the apple with their teeth. You can't help yourself with your hands. You can set the condition that the first one to catch an apple is the winner, or so that the game has no winners, just that each participant must catch his own apple from the water. The game must take place in the presence of adults.

"Pumpkin Explosion" Halloween game

Do you want Halloween to start with a bang, not a boom? Then make this playful wall decoration. Any partygoer can come up and blow up part of the balloon pumpkin and get some candy out of it.

Tools and materials to create the Pumpkin Explosion game: a piece of foam plastic, 2 meters of burlap or other fabric, double-sided adhesive tape, removable hooks (for hanging the board, but you can just put it on the floor), thirty-five orange balloons, confetti, green paper, ribbon (string), snaps (point pen or darts for big kids), funnel.

  1. We make a lid from polystyrene foam and burlap. We attach it to the wall with double-sided tape or removable hooks.
  2. Fill the balloons with confetti (using a funnel) and candies. You can leave some balloons empty or add their wishes inside.
  3. Inflate the balloons (the pump makes it faster); tie it in a knot. Attach the pumpkin-shaped balls with double-sided tape (you only need a little bit).
  4. Cut out the pumpkin root from green paper and secure it on top.
  5. Cut some tape and attach pens or a dart arrow to the thumbtack to make them easier to hold (and find if dropped).

"Pumpkin Hitting" Halloween game

Cut out a pumpkin (or two, or three) and line the inside with aluminum foil. Make the top hole large. Place the pumpkin a couple of meters from the player. Give each player ten to twenty kopecks. Every time a penny hits the pumpkin, you win candy.

"Pumpkin bowling" game for Halloween

Choose a small pumpkin (depending on the age of your guests).

You also need 1- or 2-liter plastic bottles and tape for the bowling starting line. Fill the bottles with a little sand or rice if they tip over too easily. You can also decorate the bottles eerily with markers, stickers, and other art supplies.

"Evil spirits in touch" Halloween game

A game similar to "broken phone". The players sit in a line and whisper to each other a phrase invented by the leader. The participants' task is to convey the phrase with minimal distortion. An interesting addition in the spirit of the holiday is that the game takes place in complete darkness and phrases such as: “I’ll eat you,” “Let’s go drink blood,” “Fresh meat,” “We’ll get to you,” etc. .

"Creepy howl" game for Halloween

Participants take turns emitting a terrible scream (howl, groan). The one who produces the wildest and most terrible scream is declared the winner and receives a prize.

"Will-o'-the-wisp" Halloween game

You will need: flashlight, music.

All participants sit in a circle. The lights in the room are turned off, and one of the players is given a burning flashlight. Soft music should be playing, preferably something creepy. A will-o'-the-wisp (flashlight) is passed from one player to another until the music stops. The player who has Will-o'-the-wisp at that moment is eliminated. The game continues until one player remains, and he wins.

"Mummy" Halloween game

You will need: a large amount of toilet paper.

This is a team game. Players are divided into teams of two. One will play the role of the Mummy, the other will be the Egyptian. At the signal, the Egyptian must wrap the Mummy with toilet paper from head to toe as quickly as possible (the eyes, mouth and nose, of course, remain “free”). The one who made the Mummy faster wins. Just be careful: if the paper tears, the team is out of the game!

Ghost Hunt

You will need: a scarf.

To begin with, you must select a “ghost hunter”. He needs to be blindfolded with a scarf. The rest of the participants are now ghosts, they dance around the hunter, and the hunter tries to grab them. If he succeeds, then the captured ghost moans and laments pitifully. If the hunter recognizes the ghost by its voice and calls its name, they change roles. However, if the hunter does not guess correctly, he must try his luck with another caught player.

Sinister pouch

You will need: a small bag; a number of strange or unpleasant to the touch objects (dried plums, wrinkled carrots, mushroom caps, wet sponges, etc.)

First, you need to put all the items in a bag (preferably before the guests arrive). Participants sit in a circle. The presenter, in a creepy tone, tells a chilling story about where and how he found the bag (for example, in a cemetery, in a haunted house, or is it a gift from a ghost, etc.) The first player is invited to take something in the bag (look inside and You cannot feel the bag!). It is prohibited to remove the item. After the player grabs an item, he must invent the scariest story possible about it. For example, a player finds a dried plum and assumes that it is someone's plucked out, shrunken eye. And makes up a story about him. At the end of the story, the narrator finally pulls this thing out of the bag and, as a rule, is surprised at how far his imagination can take him. After this, the bag is passed to the next player, who tells his story about another item.

Blowing a “balloon” for Halloween

An inflated balloon is placed in the middle of the table. The two participants are blindfolded and sit opposite each other at the table. They are asked to compete in blowing up the ball. However, as soon as the contestants begin to blow, the ball is removed and a plate generously filled with flour is placed in its place. The participants are amazed, and when their eyes are untied, they usually have fun with everyone

"Take care of your eyes" game for Halloween

You will need: a table tennis ball, painted like an eyeball; tablespoon. Participants must divide into two groups. A short section of the path is indicated (start and finish). Each participant, in turn, must cover this distance while carefully carrying the “eye” in a spoon. The “eye” should not fall! If it still falls, the player returns to the start and goes through the path again. The team that finishes the relay faster wins.

"Fortune" game for Halloween

You will need: lemon juice, pieces of paper, a thin brush, a lamp.

With this game you can make a strong impression on your guests! It's almost as if you could predict their future. First you need to prepare. Write a few words on pieces of paper with a brush dipped in lemon juice. On some write a number, on others the words “yes”, “no” and “maybe”. Don't be upset that you don't see the inscription, everything is going according to plan. Place the pieces of paper in a certain way in a pile (those with numbers - in one, and those with words - in another), just be sure to remember where you have what: where are the numbers, and where are the words. Your lamp, which you place on the table, will serve as a magical crystal ball. Now let's move on to the game itself. Ask your guests to ask you a question. If the question requires the answers “yes”, “no” and “maybe”, then you take a piece of paper from one pile and hold it to the lamp. After a while, the invisible font appears and your guests are delighted! If the question requires a number in the answer (for example, what grade will I get next time in math?), then simply take a piece of paper from another pile and show it.

Game "I'm Scarier"

For this game you will need markers and inflated balloons in an amount equal to the number of participants in the game. The players' task is to draw a monster's face on the ball. The author of the scariest balloon wins this competition.

"Dance of the Witches" Halloween game

You will need: a broom (you can use a broom, mop, etc. instead), music.

Participants stand in a circle with a broom. When the music turns on, the witches begin to dance merrily and pass the broom from hand to hand. The witch who has the broom after the music stops is eliminated from the game (without the broom, of course). The winner is the one who ends up dancing alone with the broom.

"Tales of Mischief" Halloween game

The following proverbs and sayings about evil spirits are suitable for this competition:

A person lies down on the sofa and covers himself with a sheet. An open trough with yogurt or soft cottage cheese is placed on the mummy's face. The driver, having entered the “crypt” with the “victim,” begins to tell in a sepulchral voice: “This is the crypt of a mummy. This is the coffin of a mummy (pointing to the sofa). This is the leg of a mummy (at this moment the driver takes the palm of the “victim” and places it on the person’s leg , lying under the sheet). This is the mummy's hand (the victim's palm is applied to the hand). This is the mummy's neck (the palm is applied to the neck). To make this prank successful, you need to conduct several rehearsals. Try not to prank overly impressionable people.

"Pharaoh" Halloween prank

As a result, the next participant who heard the terrible screams goes into the horror room with some apprehension. And after several participants who were in the room uttered heartbreaking “screams of horror,” the rest of those present were afraid to go there.

"Old Dead Joe's Cave" Halloween Prank Game

This is adorably "scary" fun for older children. To organize such a game, you will have to work hard in advance to equip a special darkened room, placing in it on stands or just chairs various “body parts” of “Old Dead Joe”: “eyes”, “tongue”, and so on. They should be placed in vessels or containers of suitable volume, mostly filled with warm water. Each of the children who is brave enough for this is blindfolded and allowed to enter the “cave” - no more than one child at a time. You, as a good owner, should lead the child from one scary object to another, each time allowing him to put his hands into the vessel and try to determine by touch what it contains. All other children at this time should sit quietly and, with bated breath, listen to the squeals and screams of the daredevil, who is being led through the “cave.”

Any room with tightly closed curtains or even a corridor (if the holiday takes place after sunset) can serve as a cave - just don’t turn on the lights, and the participants are guaranteed a scary experience :)

Here are the body parts of “Old Dead Joe” that you need to make and place in the “cave” in advance:

  • “Old Dead Joe’s Bones” - find tree branches of a suitable size on the street and free them from twigs and leaves;;
  • "Old Dead Joe's Guts" - a large bowl filled with moist, slimy noodles;
  • "Old Dead Joe's Heart" - a very large peeled tomato;;
  • "Old Dead Joe's Eyes" - a small container filled with water in which two large grapes float;
  • "Old Dead Joe's Teeth" - a metal pot or kettle filled with small stones or hard candy;
  • "Old Dead Joe's Hair" - a human hair wig stretched over a ball;
  • "Old Dead Joe's Ears" - two halves of an artichoke (with the sharp spines trimmed);
  • "Old Dead Joe's Nose" - a raw potato cut into the shape of a nose;
  • "Old Dead Joe's Fingers" - cold sausages;
  • lastly, "Old Dead Joe's Blood" - a pot or jug filled with warm tomato juice.

You will need to have a towel on hand to dry your child's hands after they have gotten into the blood.

When you leave the “cave” with a child, you can do a great job of intimidating children who have not yet visited the cave by loudly declaring: “Run, go and wash the blood off your hands: otherwise the entire parquet will be covered in blood!” The squeals and delight of the festival participants are guaranteed.

You will also need a flashlight to help you navigate your way through a dark room. Of course, the child will be blindfolded, but you will need a little light to guide him by the hand from vessel to vessel. Be sure to videotape the entire event (including your visit to "Old Dead Joe's Cave"); it can be successfully demonstrated to guests closer to the end of the holiday.

Now it's time to present the next 5 ideas for games.

Game 6. Halloween Pumpkin Rally

Dikmi: Abroad, both adults and children love this game. All age categories perceive it equally cheerfully and with a bang.

What will you need?

Install two ramps from any durable old junk

Medium sized pumpkins for all participants

How to play

The guests are divided into two teams. Two ramps are installed in the yard and the finish line is determined. After the starting whistle, the first two participants from the teams run up to the ramp and lower their pumpkins. After the descent, the pumpkins are carried with brooms to the finish line. The winner is the team whose pumpkins are all at the finish line first.

Game 7. Pumpkin Mail Game

Dikmi: This game is simply a favorite for Halloween night. For many years now it has not lost its relevance, cheerfulness and charm! The main advantage: it is offered to guests when they are tired of long dancing and want to relax a little.

What will you need?

Sheets of paper, pens

How to play?

All participants sit in a circle. Each player must answer several questions by writing them on a piece of paper. After each answer, the sheet must be rolled up, covering the record, and given to the player sitting on the left.

1. Any adjective.
2. Male name.
3. Two or three adjectives.
4. Female name.
5. Where did they meet?
6. What did he give her?
7. What did he tell her?
8. What did she answer him?
9. Consequence.
10. What do others think about all this?

After the tenth answer, the leader collects the sheets of paper and reads them aloud. It could turn out to be a very funny story! For example: “The terrible and delightful Mr. Brown met the charming Mrs. Heppins in church. He gave her a flower and said that she was very similar to her mother. They danced around the pumpkin and the world echoed - that's what we expected." Players must choose the funniest story, and the party host must give everyone a prize for their role in the Halloween story.

Game 8. Monster match

Dikmi: Many of us played this game as children, in class or in drama club. Its essence is very simple: following the prompts, you need to determine which team you belong to. Thanks to the “Monster Match,” people easily contact each other and decide to start talking to someone they didn’t know before the party. It's great for bringing people together and making even a Halloween party feel warm and homey!

What will you need?

Pieces of paper and pens

How to play?

The night before the party, come up with a few team names. For example, Dracula, Werewolf, Mummy, etc. Before the game starts, tell your guests these names. Then, on the pieces of paper, write one word associated with one or another command. For example, for a Werewolf these could be words - silver bullet, full moon, howl, fur, etc. Roll up the leaves and throw them into the box. Have each guest pull out their own clue. The task is to use the hint to find the players of your team and assemble it completely. The team that meets first wins.

Game 9. Scary tale - we compose fairy tales for Halloween

Dikmi: This is the easiest Halloween game ever!

What will you need?

Flashlight

How to play?

Turn off the lights in the room, or simply dim them. Have your guests sit in a circle. Shine a flashlight in the face of one of the participants. This will be a sign that he needs to start. He is the first to tell the most terrible story that happened to him in his life. Moreover, the story does not have to be real! You can make up scary fairy tales as you play! The only caveat. The first player just begins the story, ending the sentence with words of intrigue: and suddenly, and here from around the corner, and there, etc. Then he shines a flashlight in the face of someone else, transferring the right to continue the story.

Dikmi: Sometimes a good Hollywood action movie comes out, and sometimes it’s a typical tall tale in hunting circles. However, it will always be fun, no matter how much, even the most unexpected, turn of the storyline.

Game 10. Crime scene

Dikmi: This game is a good continuation of the theme of mystical murder. Or - the beginning of a quest-investigation. Although, you can play “crime scene” simply because it’s October 31st, Halloween night. The concept is simple. First you need to select a few guests and outline the outline of their bodies on a large Whatman paper or using adhesive tape on the floor. Then call everyone else and ask them to guess which “victim” the silhouette belongs to, and under what circumstances she was killed.

What will you need?

Wrapping paper, markers, tape

How to play?

In the midst of dancing, invite several volunteers to a separate room and draw their silhouettes in the most mysterious poses. Decorate the drawings with ketchup and red gouache (for greater believability). Then, invite expert trackers and listen to the versions and names of the victims. Discussions are encouraged and rewarded!

Variations. After completing the investigation, you can allow guests to paint the outline, adding whatever they see fit - from wings to masks of mythical creatures.
