Semolina

Components:

  • milk 2.5% – 125 ml;
  • semolina – 2 tsp;
  • children's water type "Agusha" - 25 ml;
  • butter 72% – 1/3 tsp.

Boil 60 ml. milk diluted with water. Gently add semolina and cook, stirring, for at least 15 minutes. Pour in the rest of the warm milk, boil, turn off and season with butter. Serve semolina in a plate at a temperature of 36 degrees.

Mashed buckwheat



Buckwheat for porridge can be ground in a coffee grinder or use whole grains, which are pureed at the end of cooking

Components:

  • buckwheat cereal (freshly ground flour) – without a slide 1 tsp;
  • purified drinking water – 50 ml;
  • 2.5% milk – 125 ml;
  • unsalted butter – 1/3 tsp.

Boil water, carefully add the prepared cereal (whole or ground). Close the lid and cook over low heat for 10-20 minutes. Grind the hot porridge, pour in hot milk, and boil. Remove the buckwheat, oil it, cool it and feed it with a silicone spoon.

Rice porrige

Components:

  • rice (Krasnodar variety) – 2 tbsp, without a slide;
  • baby milk – 125 ml;
  • children's drinking water – 250 ml;
  • unsalted butter – 1/2 tsp.

Rinse the cereal, add boiling water and cook for 1/3 hour. While hot, rub the thin porridge through a sieve. Pour hot milk into a homogeneous mass and mix gently. Bring to a boil, stirring vigorously. Turn off when the dish thickens and season it with soft butter.

Soup and puree recipes



Puree soups can be present in a child’s diet every day, but they should be prepared from a small amount of food in one dish.

An artificial baby can be offered cream soups from 7-9 months of age (we recommend reading:). They improve digestion and serve as a supplier of energy and microelements. Having studied what kind of soups and how much is possible for an eight-month-old baby, the mother can cook them every day.

  • butter 72% unsalted – 1 tsp.

Chop clean carrots and add a small amount of hot (95-98 degrees) water. Bring to a boil, and while hot, carefully rub through a sieve along with separately boiled rice. Oil the resulting slurry, pour in the remaining carrot broth, hot milk, boil and cool the soup to 40 degrees.

Puree soup from young vegetables



You can also add carrots to the puree soup, then the dish will acquire a beautiful color and interesting taste.

Components:

  • peeled young zucchini, cauliflower – 50 g each;
  • unsalted butter – 1/3 tsp;
  • boiled egg yolk - half.

Place the neatly chopped vegetables in a shallow aluminum saucepan, add hot water, and simmer for 20 minutes. Pour the vegetable broth into a separate container, and rub the hot vegetables through a sieve. Add warm broth to the vegetable mass, boil, butter and add chopped yolk.

Potato soup

Components:

  • boiled chicken yolk – 1 unit;
  • 2.5% baby milk – 125 ml;
  • young potatoes – 2 pcs;

Boil and mash the potatoes. Pour the vegetable mixture with warm milk and the drained broth and boil. Oil the finished dish and add carefully mashed yolk. If desired, instead of the yolk, you can boil the meat separately and add it to the soup in a pureed form.

Components:

  • medium potatoes - 1 unit;
  • young zucchini without peel – 150 g;
  • unrefined olive oil – 1 tsp;
  • boiled quail yolk – 1 piece;
  • 2.5% baby milk – 125 ml.

Chop the vegetables and cook. Grind in a blender until pureed. Add soft butter, mashed yolk, dilute with warm milk and mix. Keep on fire until boiling, serve at a temperature of about 36 degrees.

Fruit puree

Components:

  • apple and honey pear - half each;
  • dried apricots – 30 g;
  • children's water type "Agusha" - 15 ml;

However, it is much more interesting for the hostess to prepare a quality dish at home, relying on recipes with photos and step-by-step instructions.

Chicken quenelles

Components:

  • non-frozen chicken fillet – 150 g;
  • unsalted butter – 1 tbsp;
  • baby milk -125 ml;
  • wheat bread – 50 gr.

Soak bread or crust in milk and grind together with boiled fillet, butter, fresh yolk, beat well. Form neat balls and cook them in a double boiler or slow cooker. You can add boiled zucchini pulp to the minced meat.

Meat puree



It is still difficult for a child to chew meat, so it is recommended to grind the product using a blender

Components:

  • purified baby water – 100 ml;
  • lean meat – 100 g;

At the age of 8 months, the baby is still fed 5 times a day (and, of course, without night feedings), but now another feeding with breast milk is replaced by complementary foods (you introduce the so-called third complementary food into the daily diet). The child has developed a taste for new dishes and likes his menu. He is well-fed and cheerful, and is gaining weight well. What dishes are best used as a third complementary food?.. Nutritionists recommend fermented milk products; These products are good because they greatly facilitate the digestion process - they are easily digested and easily absorbed. At this age, your breastfed baby's menu should look something like this:
6.00 - breastfeeding;
10.00 - milk porridge (cereals should be alternated) - 170 g, chicken egg yolk (1/2), one of the fruit juices - 50 ml;
14.00 - meat broth - 20 ml, white bread crackers, vegetable puree - 170 g, meat puree - 50 g, one of the fruit juices - 20 ml.
18.00 - kefir - 100 ml, cottage cheese - 50 g, one of the fruit purees - 70 g;

It is clear that as complementary foods were added, the baby began to eat less breast milk. And you may have noticed that your lactation has decreased. Try, however, to maintain morning and evening breastfeeding. This is important because, along with mother’s milk, the child receives the required amount of antibodies, which make the baby’s body less susceptible to diseases. Not a single, even the best adapted formula can replace a child’s mother’s milk in this sense. Save 2 breastfeedings until the baby is ten months old.

How to teach a child to a new dish.

Have you noticed that a child, having tried a new product, sometimes does not immediately accept it. To help your child get used to this product faster, try mixing it with an already familiar dish, a favorite dish. You can mix a new product using the following method: first add 1/10 of the new product, then increase the amount of this product day by day. Do not think that a child refuses a new dish because he finds it tasteless. No, the dish is simply unfamiliar and you still need to get used to it. Some mothers, in order to quickly accustom their child to new foods, flavor the dish with various spices: garlic, herbs, large quantities of onions... Don’t do this. Also avoid giving your child dishes with sauce, smoked meats, pates, and spicy marinades.

Nutrition of a child at eight to nine months.

At 8-9 months, breast milk in your baby’s diet should account for no more than a third of the total food volume. We have already listed many different products above, but this does not mean that you yourself should not try to somehow diversify your child’s menu. Prepare vegetable purees from all the vegetables available to you (depending on the season). In vegetable purees, do not miss the opportunity to add herbs - dill, parsley, lettuce (avoid hot herbs and spices); when the child grows up - and the onion. Some mothers prepare milk porridge only from oatmeal, buckwheat, rice and semolina. But if you try a little, you can make delicious barley porridge.
